Rabbit Rehoming Information

We're no longer working on a waiting list as we've found this system simply doesn't work for us.
Instead we're working on a "first come first served" basis via our mailing list and online adverts.

For updated information, check our available kits page, sign up to our mailing list at the bottom of the page, or keep checking back on the blog.

While we are happy to help when we can, we do expect those wishing to apply to already be reasonably well informed and have a good knowledge of rabbit husbandry. For example, what is and isn't a suitable hutch or indoor set up, what kind of food you will be feeding and how you will changeover from our feed.
You should also know of and preferably be registered with a vet that are experienced with rabbits. We can recommend some practices that are local to the Princes Risborough/Aylesbury area.

To be considered as a home for our kits, you MUST:

  • Be over 18 years old. If you're applying for someone under 18 then you must be prepared to be the sole carer of the rats if the situation calls for it.

  • Already have an appropriate set up.

  • Have access to a vet that are experienced with rabbits.

Terms & Policies

  • Our Mini Rex, Mini Lops, and Plush Lops are usually ready to leave at 8 weeks old. English Lops are ready to leave at 10-12 weeks due to being a larger breed.
This is non-negotiable and no rabbit will leave before 8 weeks of age.

  • Rabbits generally prefer company. The most optimal living circumstance is a bonded pair consisting of a neutered male and a female (either spayed or entire), or two females.
We prefer to home out in pairs, but don't always have the exact numbers of kits to do this.

  • All adopters must be 18 years old or older, or have a parent or guardian purchase on their behalf. In the later case, the guardian or parent must be the one to enquire and accept full responsibility for the rabbits where the person they're purchased for cannot/will not look after them properly.

  • All rabbits are sold as PETS OR EXHIBITION ONLY unless you have our written consent to breed from them. We are happy to work with other breeders and encourage new breeders to get into the hobby.
We do not condone, under any circumstance, the breeding of pet quality rabbits purely for profit/as pets.

  • We keep a detailed and extensive pedigree record for every litter and every rabbit here. We only offer these pedigrees to other breeders.

Pricing & Payment Policies

  • Prices for all of our rabbits vary across our kits. However we do have a general guide price for each breed.

    • Prices start at:

      • Mini Lops - £60

      • Mini Rex - £45

      • Plush Lops - £70

      • English Lops - £150

These are individual prices per kit and do not include the price of vaccinations.

  • We require a 50% deposit on each kit upon reservation, this is non-refundable.

  • Delivery and/or courier fees are non-refundable.

Collection Policies

  • Once your kit is ready to collect, you will have 7 days to collect them. If you have paid in full, we can hold them for up to 14 days. If you need rabbit(s) to be held longer than this, we will recommend waiting for a later litter.

  • After the 7 days have passed, the sale will be cancelled, the rabbit(s) will return up for sale, and you will forfeit your deposit.
This applies to the full payment and 14 day rule also.

  • In cases of emergencies (we understand life happens) that may effect pick up, we may make a case by case exception.

  • In non-emergency cases where you aren't able to stick to your agreed pick up date and time, you MUST inform us at least 24 hours before, otherwise we may not be able to reschedule your pick up and you will lose your chosen rabbit(s) and deposit/payment.

All we truly ask is that you keep in contact. As people with a big family and a busy life, we understand that not every day is plain sailing. we can, of course, make exceptions when it comes to cancellations.

Our policies are strict simply due to past experiences.
